Exclusive event for Members of The Norfolk Club. Come and meet Dr Pat Oakley, writing as Annie Graham, and hear about Louisa’s Lament. Based in 1880, this harrowing story of professional rivalry and misogyny was buried in a footnote in the history of Guy’s hospital until now.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR, Annie Graham
Annie has worked in London Teaching Hospitals and has consulted and taught on interprofessional conflict for
over thirty years. She has a PhD in Organisational Psychology with a special interest in medical power structures and behaviours, a Diploma in the Social History of Medicine and an MA in 19th Century Studies.
Books will be available for sale.
All proceeds will go to: The Students’ Support Fund at Birkbeck College, London University, in honour of its 200th Anniversary.
