Review of Louisa's Lament - RCN Website

Feeling incredibly grateful today to Janet Hargreaves who posted this wonderful review of Louisa’s Lament on the Royal College of Nursing’s website.

Whilst I am always delighted to receive any review (do keep them coming, all proceeds to charity!) this one stands out because Janet is a retired nurse with a particular interest in nursing history.

She acknowledges the meticulous research on the events at hand, life in 1800s and that, even though the plot thickened over a century ago, the politics and organisational conflict is still very much ongoing today.

Janet also noticed that I chose to write the book as fact-based fiction in order to reach a wider audience because organisational conflict is a topic that I feel strongly about.

You can read the review here, or on the RCN website, and buy the book direct from Pat Oakley Publishing or on Amazon.
